^We changed our product from ‘Skullcandy Headphones’ to music players by Apple (‘iPods’). We all decided that this would be a lot more practical for everyone to bring in seeing as we all have iPods; where as with Skullcandy Headphones we would have to use the same pair for everyone- limiting us on what shots we could use like e.g.: panning from one person to the other and including them both in the shot.

^We reviewed what we need to get done this session and what we’ll need to bring in next time. We worked out that the task we’d like to get completed today:

MORNING:

-Complete some ‘RECCE REPORTS’ of the photos that were taken last week.
-Get some more photos for our ‘RECCE REPORTS’ for example like the fire safety, electrical plugs and where they are in question to where we’ll be filming, etc.

-Try out some text shots of where we’d like to film with our advert, get some ideas and the feeling.

AFTERNOON:

-Complete our test shots, at least getting a few done for us to try out.

-Get them onto the computer to explore how we can edit this footage and may be even think about including it in our advert.

IDEA’S GIVEN:
Kate: Screen splits into five showing all of us putting the headphones into our iPods, and placing the headphones on our heads and also pressing play. From there, the advert will start with our first scene.

Beth’s & Kate’s Scene: Seeing as Beth would like to use a very fast beat dance song, the idea came that maybe Beth’s should flow into Kate’s song- taking the whole advert down a level, makes it a lot more relaxing.

Location Ideas: Picking isolated places like the walkway to the chesterfield skate park or the stairway leading to the library. Picking place that are not really visited, maybe run down housing and apartment block.

IDEA’S FOR EVERYONES SECTION:
Sophie’s Scene: Song- ‘Relax’ Frankie goes to Hollywood.
Movements and visual not so sure on yet, but we’ll work on that this session.

Kate’s Scene: Song- ‘Lights on’ Katie B.
Movements and visuals are still not clear, but like Sophie’s we’ll sort this out by this session atleast.

Joe’s Scene: Song- ‘Lose yourself’ Eminem.
Again, no real idea. We’re aiming on getting that sorted by today.

Beth’s Scene: Song- ‘Insomnia’ Faithless or ‘Sandstorm’ Darude’
Visual and movements include Beth walking threw a crowd of people simply wearing black or pick a color filter to just show what Beth’s bright clothing eg: bright yellow and how everyone else black and white.

Alex’s Scene: Song- ‘In the End’ Linkin Park.
Movements include: Me jogging down some stairs, looking left to right making a decision about which way to go- I finally pick right and keep on going with my run. Around a second or so later, my character turns into another and i put a hood up and I turn into one of the people who Beth walks past when she’s doing her scene. She bumps into my shoulder without even realizing, the audience see my face for the first time. Beth continues.

• Start blog on tumblr, and start posting.

• Get the music downloaded onto my iPod for each scene and listen to it while I’m taking the photos. Create location idea’s at the different times of the day- think ideally where we can film and if it is okay to film there.

• Get all the photos developed, and look over them- create a recce report.

• Get the minutes typed up from the meeting on the 19th January.
